It is irreversible. If you cherish free expression you should be worried.

Why isn't congress stopping this?

Its not like Cruz has not tried, where is everyone else?

How about Michael Savage live broadcast being ripped from the airwaves??? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrEizqDSXrE

I know this is a different media outlet, but it involved censorship when he was talking about something the left didn't like. This is the beginning of the end. When this spreads across the nation and begins effecting the left free speech they will scream the loudest.

I listened during that time and just as he was starting to rip into touchy specifics, the two clowns staged a coup, according to their own filthy words, and he was taken down.

Due to "technical reasons" of course, show kept getting cutting in and out...

Ah, the fascists are back...

Nobody cares I suppose, or thinks this will affect them.

Few States, Texas being one of them, have filed a lawsuit over this however.

“Trusting authoritarian regimes to ensure the continued freedom of the internet is lunacy,” said Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in a statement. “The president does not have the authority to simply give away America’s pioneering role in ensuring that the internet remains a place where free expression can flourish.”

Congress ended their session without doing anything. State Attorney Generals may file suit to block it.

Whats up Congress?

1984 was more prophetic than fiction.

In our age, there is no such thing as "keeping out of politics."
All issues are political issues, and politics itself is a mass of lies,
evasions, folly, hatred, and schizophrenia.

"A last-ditch effort by critics to block the plan -- a lawsuit filed by four US states -- failed when a Texas federal judge refused to issue an injunction to stop the transition."

TERM LIMITS for congressional and federal judicial offices would quell much, if not all, of these 'Big Brother' insanities and injustices. Our founding fathers never foresaw career politicians when they adopted our Constitution.

We need an alternate, vetted root zone. Texas should take the lead. Much as we used to influence textbooks, we could produce a barrier to censorship in DNS.

That would fun to implement. A dream job.
