I've been a hunting rifle and AK guy for a long time. Decided to put together a basic AR. So I'm wondering what handguards and stock could I get that would make it look similar to the ACR? I just dig the looks. I'm thinking magpul is the closest. I'm kind of looking for suggestions on handguards. I just plan to put a light on it nothing too fancy.

For the buttstock you could go with the Gen 1 or Gen 2 URB collapsible stock. Doesn't fold, but has a similar appearance. Handguard, the MOE SL is a nice choice.

...and Magpul is the closest for a pretty good reason.

Then get the LAW folding stock adapter so that your stock will fold like the ACR's.
