If history is any guide, it won't end well for anyone.Wolverine wrote:If history is any guide, it's not going to end well for the dissenters.
I finished that book about 3 days ago and really liked it. I've become somewhat of a Kurt Schlichter fan.ScottDLS wrote:I'm reading his novel "People's Republic" and it has a lot of ideas from his columns too.

If you like that, then you should read this: Enjoy the Decline, by Aaron Clarey. I'm on Chapter 3: The Art of Minimalism right now.We refuse to give them our respect or obedience. Let’s get our minds right here – the key to liberal success is our consent and acquiescence, and they will demand it based upon the lie that 2016 is a mandate for their petty tyranny. It’s not. It’s a rejection of a creepy buffoon who got where he is simply by being the only one who would stand up to the lies and the cronyism. They can’t make us do anything, unless they send people with guns. And don’t count on femboy hipsters in skinny jeans to be those guys.
We have to sign off on our own subservience. So let’s not.
Thanks, purchased and downloaded. Will read when I finish "Castigo Bay" by Matthew Bracken. The Annoyed Man wrote:If you like that, then you should read this: Enjoy the Decline, by Aaron Clarey. I'm on Chapter 3: The Art of Minimalism right now.

Is that book serious or "for entertainment purposes only"?The Annoyed Man wrote:If you like that, then you should read this: Enjoy the Decline, by Aaron Clarey. I'm on Chapter 3: The Art of Minimalism right now.bblhd672 wrote:We have to sign off on our own subservience. So let’s not.
It's fairly serious. Some of the writing style has a certain dark humor or sarcasm to it, but it is definitely serious about going galt. It is a "how to" book, and a justification for why one should. At my age, it's already too late to implement some of the things he says, but others are a definite possibility.snorri wrote:Is that book serious or "for entertainment purposes only"?The Annoyed Man wrote:If you like that, then you should read this: Enjoy the Decline, by Aaron Clarey. Going Galt has a lot of attraction, given our choices this election year. The question is one of practicality for those of us who aren't already millionaires.
