The official press release on the matter was yesterday, October 13; commentary from Judicial Watch have been scattered around the media today.

Did we learn anything new? Nope. Did we get reinforcement that Hillary Clinton lies through her teeth almost every waking breath, and cares not one whit about doing so under oath? Yep; I think we did.

The questions and responses were in writing, and were submitted to Clinton on August 30 as ordered by U.S. District Court Judge Emmet G. Sullivan. The responses filed were under oath.

Quick and unsurprising summary:
  • 25 questions in total were submitted.
  • To 21 of these, Hillary Clinton's response included some form of the phrase, "I do not recall."
  • Included with the answers to the court, Hillary Clinton filed 8 general objections to the process as a whole.
  • General Objection #1 reads, in part: "Secretary Clinton objects to the Interrogatories on the ground that any discovery of Secretary Clinton is unwarranted in this case...." (After all, at this point, what difference does it make?)
  • Hillary Clinton objected to two definitions in the Interrogatories: the definition of "Clintonemail.com email system" and the definition of "Clintonemail.com account." (She learned some stuff from Bill, didn't she, about it depending upon what the definition of "is" is?)
  • Hillary Clinton objected individually to 18 of the 25 questions presented.
In closing the official press release, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton writes, "We’re pleased that we now have a little bit more information about Hillary Clinton’s email practices. Our lawyers will be reviewing the responses closely. Mrs. Clinton’s refusal to answer many of the questions in a clear and straightforward manner further reflects disdain for the rule of law."

This with the Wikileaks would bury anyone else's political career. Not to mention everything before it.
