Todd Johnson - Lone Star Armory Anyone ever use him?

I want to have some work done but having been burned by the worthless "smith" at S&W Guns in Alvin I am going to research this time.

I know two guys who have had work done by Todd and both have recommended Todd to me several times. The work I've seen has been very good but that may not be saying much as it was only two examples of his work. The first piece I saw was a Winchester Model 70 XTR which I think appears on his website in the photo section. The second piece was some mechanical reliability work on a 1911 so I really couldn't comment on how "pretty" it was other than to say the gun runs reliably now.

I am told that Todd can and well work on just about everything. From what I've seen, he's a competent gunsmith. I simply haven't yet had the opportunity to have him do any work for me. From what I am told, his prices are VERY reasonable and he provides fairly fast turnaround times.
