I never had a Fanner 50, but I did have some Nichols .45's including the one that shot play ammo. Nichols toy firearms were made in Pasadena (later they moved to Jacksonville, Tx.)and one of the kids I went to school with was related to the founder. They made other toys besides guns, including slingshots. I wish I still had my Nichols .45's.
