				Have you fired a .45? it's a great round but make sure you are accurate with it before dropping a lot of money.

				Doc, where do you reside? Do you think I can come shoot it and see if it's for me before I drop the cash? :)
Btw, do you think you can post pic's of it when it arrives?

They have some of the best prices anywhere for Kimber.
They used to have them posted on their website...but I believe they got heat from Kimber due to being lower than anyone else on the Internet.
I think they are even close to Spring...

				I'm sure you'll love the gun, but you might consider getting another mainspring housing. That lanyard ring is not your friend when doing fast reloads!!

Now that sounds like a man speaking from experience! I bet it can also be a bit painful to carry!

				That's one sweet 1911. If I'm not mistaken, that model has the Crimson Trace laser grips, right?
I've used Bud's Gun Shop (Paris, KY) to buy a couple of H&K pistols online.  Gurney is who I always deal with, he's a friendly ex-LEO who gets my orders squared-away pretty darn quick.  Bud's also offers a cool financing deal through GE Credit;
90days/same as cash, no pymts./no interest. This purchasing option allows me to keep the transaction
classified,
and undetected by the wife-unit!!
 I actually
just ordered a new Sig from Gurney about an hour ago (P226 Navy).
Bud's has competitive prices on their H&K and SigArms pistols, although I can't speak for their Kimber prices. Matter of fact, their prices are
so good on Sigs, that Sig's President called them last week and demanded that they de-list their Sig inventory and raise the prices! Can you believe this, Sig was miffed that one of their dealers was making too many good deals for customers!!
If you go to the site, you'll only see a few Sigs currently listed, but if you call Gurney he'll tell you what they've got in-stock.
Hope this helps,
-BK
