In Houston Chronicle Jan. 4 reported that two rappers were making a music video near a credit union in Lake Jackson, TX. They were displaying real guns and fake money bags. They apparently didn't notify anyone in law enforcement. My thoughts:

1) why wouldn't they notify someone in authority that they would be outside a bank looking like they were robbing it?
2) they used real guns but author (sym)pathetically noted the guns were not loaded
3) the article states the cops did the "right thing" by not shooting - tone of article compliments cops for not doing anything "bad"
4) apparently they were not cited nor charged with some other penalty for what should have been some sort of brandishing given the facts

Not charged with anything......... hhmm. I think there are several charges that could apply. Note to self: If I ever rob a bank, just tell them I'm a rapper and making a video.

Something tells me that these two had this planned. Because of their "stunt" how many news crews reported on this and how many articles in news papers will be written with their names in it? Sounds like a really stupid way to get your name out there.
