Can someone 20 take the class a month before he turns 21 and then turn his paper work in after his 21st birthday?

Yes. Several of my students have done so. Just caution not to apply until actually 21.

Makes my son very happy also. Instead of going out drinking and partying for his 21st, he plans to submit his LTC application and then go buy a handgun he's been wanting. Wouldn't it be a good idea to check with the instructor? Different instructions may have different policies. Just a thought. Maybe class size would be an issue.

I will check with the instructor, but it is a class I am sponsoring.
