Immigrant defense aid

I can't remember if this was talked about here or not. The only reason why I am posting this is I found 1 quote from Greg Casar that I thought was quite interesting.
He stated, “We’re not here to protect your quality of life by protecting you from certain people from certain places.” in response to Ellen Troxclair.
Does anyone find it interesting that when discussing someone who is breaking the law, by being here illegally, they would use that phrase?
However, when talking about law abiding LTC'ers that same sentence would most certainly not be uttered.

All I know is if a person is wanting to immigrate legally, I like their desire to join us Americans.
If they want to illegally come into our country, isolate themselves into clusters of non-English speaking, anti-American groups, while enjoying American law, my attitude is deport them.
Yeah, I can see some thinking, I'm ever so harsh...
Well, how many foreign countries tolerate anti-assimilate or even anti-that country attitudes?
None...
They have an attitude of get with us or leave...

And when they protest and wave the Mexican flag they should go to the top of the list to be deported.

If somebody isn't here legally, they're not an immigrant, they're an invader.

Hey, I was told last night that they aren't illegals, just undocumented!

Yea - there are a lot of things that are being redefined.

So, if I steal a car, I'm not a car thief, I'm the undocumented new owner of the car.

You have the wrong mindset. You didn't steal the car, it's there for all of us to use.

So if someone breaks into your house in the night (or day) they are just a guest, authorized or not. Just learn to deal with him/her a d stop getting hung up with who is wrong.

That right you have to get with the Marxist programme all private property is theft, even your body only exists to serve the needs of the collective. Now of course as a senior party official you get the use of a large house, the best food and drink, armed protection, limo, VIP air travel etc but only because you are a senior party official.

I had peripheral experience (rescheduling of a contractor) with "A Day Without Immigrants" last Thursday in Houston. I've also watched and listened to a lot of the media's coverage--replete with bunches of first-person interviews--since the POTUS travel restrictions were signed and the seeming factor-of-magnitude escalation of demonstrations began.
I've come to the conclusion that the redefinitions we are expected to now believe are the following, in the form of
situation --> new terminology:
- Child, born in U.S., of naturalized U.S. Citizens --> Immigrant
- Naturalized U.S. Citizen --> Immigrant
- Legal U.S. resident with Green Card --> Immigrant
- Individual in U.S. with valid, temporary visa --> Visitor
- Individual in U.S. with expired visa --> Immigrant
- Individual who entered U.S. illegally --> Immigrant
- Individual who entered U.S. illegally and who has one or more additional misdemeanor convictions --> Immigrant
- Convicted felon who entered U.S. illegally --> Immigrant
- Convicted felon who entered U.S. illegally and who has already been deported at least once --> Immigrant
And it chaps my hide. I have some very close friends who are naturalized U.S. citizens. They wanted to live here, and they did it legally and went through every step required to becomes citizens. And that citizenship is something they are very proud of, and something they hold very dear.
I knew one of them, from an unnamed European country, for a few years before his naturalization was finalized. I knew how much it meant to him, and after all the family celebrations were done, I wanted to buy him dinner, our first meeting with him as a new U.S. Citizen. In a prior life (not under the Obama administration) I had reason to come into possession of a couple sets of cufflinks (in nice but not exactly expensive presentation cases) given, at that time, to VIPs visiting the Vice President. I gave my friend a pair at dinner as a token of his new citizenship, and he teared up at the table to the point he had to go the restroom to let it out. To this day, almost every time I see him when he's in shirt-and-tie, he's wearing those cufflinks.
I can't speak for naturalized U.S. citizens. But if the ones I know are any example, the now seemingly interchangeable use of the term "immigrant" is flat-out demeaning and insulting.

I think your above definitions may be slightly inaccurate "•Individual in U.S. with expired visa --> Immigrant" unless you are a white middle class person of from Europe, then you are an illegal alien potential future Republican voter and must be deported yesterday.
