You should have some real fun with this. They are in Tennessee and not in Texas. However, not much of his advice I agree with as he puts too much faith in having a cop on-site. He doesn't like LTC carry in church.

Let me know your thoughts on his comments and advice. I can tell our church leadership listened to this.

Horsefeathers! I will not attend any church anywhere, of any denomination, that disallows my duly licensed CC.

"don't allow everyone to carry a gun" that's all I had to read. I was in CO Springs for the New Life shooting. We will never go to a church where we can't carry.

Remember the Wedgwood Baptist Church shooting September 15, 1999. No one inside was armed to be able to stop this tragedy.

Our members have a plan. Alternate entrances locked during services, procedures of responsibility pertaining to late arrivals, predetermination of who is the sheep dogs and who is not... I think it is rudimentary for any church. If not by the "management" then by the congregation on their own, as is our cabal.

Just read the cliff notes, no time to listen to the podcast.
Most of the suggestions/recommendations are good ones.
Except one horribly wrong one: "don't allow everyone to carry a gun"

IIRC, in the Charleston, SC church shooting incident perpetrated by Dylan Roof (sp?),
the minister of that church was also an elected state official. He had taken a position
opposing LTC people from carrying in church.
Ironic, eh?
