Deadline for wiretap evidence

I am puzzled by the "deadline" that a certain House committee has given Trump to provide them with evidence supporting his wiretapping allegations.

It seems like Trump is being held to a different standard here. If the state (or anyone else) accuses me of wrong doing, can I give them a deadline of a week or so to either present their evidence or withdraw the charge? IANAL, but I think they get just a bit more time than that to finish up their investigation before presenting their case. On the other hand, if we were to institute this sort of "right to an immediate trial" it would cut down significantly on court costs as almost every single case was withdrawn....

Just because the say it is a deadline, does not make it so.

When that didn't work they simply invoked Executive Privilege, and never had to reveal all of the details.

The Opposition Party, consisting of Dems led by Obama and Valerie Jarrett, the stooges in the MSM / Fake News, and aided by the swamp critters branch of the Republican party led by McCain/Graham, are clearly out to destroy Trump.

Trump is a fighter, but he is surrounded by weaklings like McConnell, Ryan, and "mainstream" Republicans. The MSM is turning every story into an anti -Trump rant, and only a few brave conservatives in the media such as Mark Levin, Hannity, Judge Pirro, and possibly O'REILLY support Trump.
Flynn was the first casualty which gave the Opposition Party a taste for blood.
Sessions made a mistake recusing himself in the "Russia" investigations. There was no reason for the recusal.
Trump has a loyal band of voters who support him and there may yet be the civil war that was predicted originally when it looked like Hitlery was going to be elected.
Draining the swamp will be a long haul, and there will be collateral damage, as well as portions of the swamp that will have to be concreted over...
It will get worse even as it seems to be getting better, the left will not go softly into that goodnight. Soros has seen to that.

Well we know for a fact that someone listened in on at least one of Flynn's calls with the Russian ambassador. Despite the fact that they were not supposed to continue listening after realizing that there was an American on the line. That, and the fact that our "intelligence" agencies are completely inept and unable to keep classified info from leaking like a broken faucet.

Do we really need other evidence to justify digging further into these buffoons? Maybe it will turn out to be that there is no ill intent and they are just incompetent. But we still need to figure out whether there is anything worse going on.
