Alumagrips (1911)

Here's a pic of my new grips] (on my daily carry)

They are great. Good feel to them, not super shiny, some texture to them (brushed aluminum like) Dont rub my slightly large stomach. /love handles... :) :shock:

In my opinion look pretty good on the eclipse model.
Service was good over the phone, very helpfull.

My favorite 1911 bears a Texas State Seal on a pair of Alumagrips.

Sigh. Plastic guns don't have this option.

I have always preferred wood grips on a 1911, but decided to try some Alumagrips. They are extremely well made, very comfortable and I can happily recommend them.

Here's a pic of mine with the big fat Techwell magwell. :shock:

Hey GMB, I have an old car that's sitting outside in the weather. Can I park it inside your magwell to protect it from the elements? :lol:

Just one car might feel a bit lonely in there. :grin: But with all the rain we've been having, the magwell could serve as an umbrella. :razz:
