M&P Shield Performance Center .40. **deal alert**

I saw some buddies last weekend, one of whom had a new Khar 9mm. I really liked the look and feel, and was determined to get one, but in a .40 as I already had a concealable 9mm. That led me down the rabbit hole we call the "internet". I finally came out of the foray and headed to Academy to hold a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Performance Center in .40.
I ordered in Sunday night from a dealer, $384 shipped to my FFL, and it was there less than 48 hours later. With the $75 rebate, I'll net out at $309.
I've not shot it yet (tomorrow), but it looks and feels fantastic. Online reviews are favorable. Yep, .40 is a lot in a small package, but I am confident I can manage it. This is a nice concealable compliment to my full size XDm .40.
