Some of you will recall that on July 8, 1947, almost 70 years ago, witnesses claim that an unidentified flying object (UFO) with five aliens aboard crashed onto a sheep and mule ranch just outside Roswell, New Mexico . This is a well known incident that many say has long been covered up by the U.S. Air Force and other federal agencies and organizations.

However, what you may NOT know is that in the month of April 1948, nine months after that historic day, the following people were born:

Albert A. Gore, Jr..
Hillary Rodham
John F. Kerry
William J. Clinton
Howard Dean
Nancy Pelosi
Dianne Feinstein
Charles E. Schumer
Barbara Boxer

See what happens when aliens breed with sheep and mules?

I certainly hope this bit of information clears up a lot of things for you. It did for me.

No wonder they support the bill to help illegal aliens

This also probably explains why the aliens have not returned.

I was in Roswell earlier this year and was disappointed that there was no longer alien (green guy) advertising of significance. I guess I should have been looking at DC politics. Their alien births certainly would explain their positions! Ha

I will be putting that in my church bulletin Sunday.
I don't believe a church publication is the appropriate place for a preachers political leanings. I know I got tired of reading the leftist agenda of my former preacher( I left ). I go to church to learn the Lords teachings, not the preachers political agenda. That would be enough to drive me to another church. I don't care to hear others or express my own political thoughts in the Lords house.

I knew a guy who grew up in Roswell. His family moved there right after the curious doings. He said the UFO crash was considered a fact in the background. We all know there's oxygen in the atmosphere, we just don't talk about it much. That's how he described the community opinion in Roswell.

Could be mass hysteria, but then I became personally convinced that whether or not the Army covered up the arrival of extraterrestrials in the 40's, aliens have at least landed on our moon and I've seen a wealth of video that to me proves space voyagers have actually landed on our little blue planet.

Other-than-aircraft flew many times at Roswell, too. Seriously. I wasn't there and I guess I can't say that as an eyewitness, but I'm convinced it's true.

If you're ever in Roswell, give everything with "alien" in the name a pass. Go to the Roswell Art Museum. There, along with fine art, you'll see a reconstruction of Robert Goddard's shop including his personal tools.

He moved to Roswell after the New York Times heckled his claim that his successful liquid fueled rocket might someday lift man into space. The Times said Goddard failed to understand what any schoolboy knew, that rockets wouldn't work in space without something to push against. Goddard was humiliated and wanted to move away from people to continue his work. Roswell was in the middle of nowhere. He could blow stuff up without the neighbors complaining, and there is where he did his best work.

When I saw the finger brake (a sheet metal bending device) Robert Goddard personally used to craft rocket components, the same kind of finger brake I've used myself, I got teary eyed. Nobody gave Goddard anything. He took the resources at his disposal and unlocked the heavens. The thought of what my kids might accomplish with no more than sweat and a dream made my knees weak.

Oh, and aliens landing on the moon? Every schoolboy knows that's true, with or without the Times. The first alien there was a fellow named Neil Armstrong, and I think even CNN can be trusted with reporting spacecraft landings on Earth. Shuttles, Soyuz capsules, Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo era splashdowns, they are all true.

Have aliens landed? Sure. The ones we know about are us. We've proved the concept of limited space travel. But wait, stay tuned, there might be more...

I have always been intrigued by the Roswell story. I have been there many times and whatever you believe about the alien crash, it is certainly interesting. My personal belief is that the whole story was invented, staged, confirmed and then immediately denied by the U.S. government as part of Post WWII Cold War misinformation strategy to unsettle the Soviets. The planting and distribution of bad intel by the U.S. was a very effective WWII strategy and helped disrupt Hitler significantly. The Roswell story, to my ear, seems to have some of those same vibes. Now that is just my hunch, but whatever you think, it is very interesting to visit the area and see the newspaper headlines and hear the old radio reports that have become a part of American folklore.
