Seen many reports of Antifa / BLM and New Panthers suppose to gather around the Sam Houston statue downtown to protest against it and get it removed. Wonder if anyone else is seeing or knows about it? Haven't seen anything on the news about it but then again probably won't.

These people definitely need us to give our opposing voices and presence. My history books painted Joseph McCarthy as a nut job but I think today he would be seen as leading opposition to people like Antifa. The book Only Yesterday about post WWI describes distinct strength of socialists and communists in the U.S. and how back then people had to stand up and vehemently say enough!

There isn't anything wrong with Soros that can't be solved by 175 grains of diplomacy.

I take the wording of this post to indicate that they intend to beat down anyone who opposes them......which means that some antifa thugs may find themselves to be sporting new gunshot wounds that they did not bring with them. Their language choice is insane.......especially here in Texas.

Texas Antifa certainly has one thing right- the democrat mayor of Houston will be on their side.

As far as "Texans" and "Texans all over" wanting these statues and names removed - well that might be another story.

I wonder if their new police chief will march alongside his comrades like he did in Austin.

They win by using fear and intimidation. The question remains will there be an opposing peaceful demonstration to preserve the statue.

So true -- will be attending with some friends, just need to get some "Make America Great Again" signs or "Can't Change History" something to make them even madder

I have a feeling HPD will be about as helpful as police in Berkeley thanks to their liberal Chief. Seeing how antifa operates bring masks and milk to combat the OC spray. Full face motorcycle helmets work well, a nice sturdy riot shield would be smart to bring.
