He will surely be missed. I watched the documentary "I'll Be Me" last week.
It was sad, but also showed his sense of humor and great spirit.
RIP Glen.

He was such a big part of my life growing up. We lived in Nashville in the early to mid 70's. He was always one of my mom's favorites. I cried when I found out his diagnosis, I cried earlier today.
My MIL has Alz and lives with us, I've studied this disease and I continue to. I know too much about it. I don't know enough.
I. hate. Alzheimer's.

I always did get them two mixed up.

I purchased Glen's final studio album a couple of weeks ago. Enjoyable listen, however bittersweet knowing that his time was close at hand.
Glen was not only a good singer, but an amazing guitar player as well.

Had the pleasure of seeing Glen in concert at Bass Hall and later at Billy Bob's in Ft. Worth not too many years ago. Not only an amazing guitar player, but a heck of a bagpiper too. The one thing I liked about the live concerts was that Glen stayed true to the original tunes and did not "modify" them for a concert audience as so many artist do.

There will be many reviews of his life and career. I just viewed an interview with of all people, Alice Cooper. I didn't know that were close friends for many, many years in Phoenix as well as their families. . They shared mutual passions; their faith and golf.
