Silencerco makes them with integral suppression. Yep, no long tube located/attached at the end of the barrel. 9 mm high capacity, semi-auto. Can use Glock mags too.

They look rather bulkily sci-fi, but something I think...I want.

Due to bulk and size, might be a chore as an EDC, but man, if you did, and had to defend yourself you wouldn't go deaf, maybe a fair trade off...

I watched several test demos from shotshow this year about the Maxim 9 - I rather like them minus the bulkiness... I'm kinda holding out/hoping that maybe a Gen 2 will reduce some of the bulk/size.

They can be made smaller by removing some of the suppression, (they come with another set of rails to accomplish this) but the trade-off means a higher decibel level. Sigh...

Yeah, I too am thinking about a Gen 2 possibility where the suppression is still very high without as much bulk.
