Congratulations but you will regret at the moment you run out of ammo :-)

aaangel,
my CZ75D compact also followed me home from Riflegear. It was one of the best gun buying experiences that I ever had.The store was really crowded and the salesperson spent all the time that was needed to help me decide which one.
I think you will be very happy with your decision.CONGRATULATIONS

Yeah but 1,ooo rounds is nothing for a CZ.
Remember, CZ's get much better so more you use it.

LOL, I get nervous when I get down to 1000 rounds for the CZ to eat.

As far as grips go, the ones from CZ custom are pretty nice.

Patriot Defense is also getting ready to roll out some palmswell grips for the shadow that are very promising. I just checked them out last night and they are darn nice. My arms naturally went to an elbows out position with no pressure on my tendentious at all. I'm slated to be one of the product testers for the polymer version of them, if they are as sweet as they seemed to be last night, I'll be getting the aluminum ones as soon as they are available.

I'll keep yall posted!

CZs are industrial grade. After shooting yours, many other guns will feel like toys.

:thumbs2:

Is that like a monthly recurring delivery plan? Or just enough to get by while you set up to reload?

When I bought my STI, I went from about 200 rds./month to almost 1k rds./month. I quickly bought a Dillion 550 and have shot happily ever after! :fire

Good luck on your first range trip. Don't forget to bring lunch and and plenty of water, it takes a while to load 1,000 rounds

I'll post a range report once I can afford a Czechmate shown here http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-75-ts-czec ... 6-rd-mags/

I may have to sell my shadow target to buy it :-(

:cheers2:

My comments were tongue in cheek!

I'm not rich either, and saved up for the reloading press for a while. I now load .45 for about $7/box, $14 per 100 (some even cheaper) It took me about 6 months to pay off my press and tools. From that point I was shooting 4-5 times as much for the same price as always!

Enjoy the heck out of that new gun!!
