I think this is great!

I read this last night on other web sites. All of the comments were negative. I was concerned that I was alone in my opinion that his conviction after he left office was too political. I am happy that President Donald J. Trump pardoned Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

The president's power to pardon anyone for any federal crime is absolute. Even if the they haven't been charged. See President Gerald Ford's pardon of former President Richard M. Nixon.

Before President Donald J. Trump leaves office, I'd like him to pardon Scooter Libby and any other (Republican) person that was politically prosecuted by a special counsel. If Robert Muller is still trying to prosecute President Donald J. Trump's team, I'd like to see President Donald J. Trump pardon all of them before he leaves office.

Look at the people Obama pardoned, Trump is a breath of fresh air.

I thought the only ones who could get pardons were druggies, thugs, and MTV stars.

Of course not. If we expected/demanded that everyone agree, we'd be dyed in the wool Progressives like the "Pravda on the Potomac" and its thralls. Consider that the writer would likely not be in the United States if those who oppose illegal immigration had their way and I think you might get a better understanding for his animosity. I do think that justice should be dispensed without regard to background, social standing, ethnicity, race, religion or any other factor. That is of course another fantasy as the adventures of one each Edward M. "Teddy" Kennedy would reveal.
