Assault is a verb, not a noun!

Actually, in both cases, he used it as an adjective.

Adjectives modify or describe nouns, no?

Growing up, I had a neighbor who named his dog Assault. Would that be a proper noun? :cool:

If the dog was coming after you, would that constitute "Assault with intent"? "rlol"

If he caught me it would be "Assault assaulting!"
When the attack was over it would be "Assault assaulted."
That would mean I would have been "Assaulted by assault." :lol::
