This fine upstanding young man is an example of why we need to be armed at all times. He is probably a good young man just trying to better himself by taking what does not belong to him.

It was in Detroit... Not sure why Fox Houston would put that in local news.

Filling the gap and not as dangerous as reporting about the own neighbourhood I guess.

I'll answer it.
I'm not sure exactly how the Ring technology works, but assuming that I saw this on my phone as I was getting out of bed, I would tell my wife to call 911, I would yell to my kids to stay in their rooms, and I would get my Tavor from the safe in my bedroom. I may or may not don body armor. I would then take up a defensive position covering the door while I waited for LE to arrive.
I definitely would not open the door, and I wouldn't try to engage the BG's while they are outside. But if they get through the door, then I would do what I needed to do to stop the threat.
