A licensed to carry handgun owner shot and killed a man who fired at him in an apartment parking lot in north Austin Saturday.

Very little details, but this is Austin. At least the police are not charging the man who defended himself.

I find myself curious as to exactly what the argument was about. Also I assume the attacker was still firing when he retrieved his gun and fired, but it is not clear.
