Houston Marathon/30.06-.07

I was reading the topic of the NRAAM, and the discussion about 30.06/.07 postings at the convention center and I wanted to comment about this year's Houston Marathon which was about 3 weeks ago. I didn't want to post off-topic on the NRAAM thread so I started a new one.
The Houston Marathon did a better job this year of following the law in posting/not posting handgun signage.
They did not post 30.06/.07 signs at the Marathon Expo this year as they had in years passed... I didn't see the uniformed police presence at the expo either.
On race day I saw signs at a security gate for entry into the finish line area for spectators, but I didn't see them at the entrance to the convention center.
