Hello forum family, I need to go to a good back doctor. I live about 40 miles east of dallas so I’m about 45mins from the heart of dallas. I have suffered from scoliosis my whole life. While I am only in my 20’s the older I get the worse it seems. I work a very tough job which causes me to use my whole body and back heavily. Most days I’m ok but some days after exerting myself very hard my back hurts so bad and makes it almost impossible to stand up straight. I decided to not let my pride get in the way and go to aback doctor to see what I can do to get some help. As I have never been I don’t know of any. Thank you for the help in advance.

I don't have scoliosis, but I know that's a painful condition and treatment is tough to get.
My back problems were all disc related - degeneration - grinding bone on bone. I was on painkillers 24/7 for a while.
I had excellent care from Texas Back Institute in Plano, TX. My two doctors were Dr. Ziegler and Dr. Blumenthal.
After they treated me, I'm painfree. A much better outcome than I expected. Good enough to bowl 2 leagues a week (200+ average, I might add)

Their website says they treat scoliosis.
I hope you find a good doctor and the treatment is successful.
They did good by me; I can't say enough good things about them.

Spine Team Texas in Rockwall. Dr Cooper is who is working on me. I have scoliosis with the addition of 2 types of arthritis. I've had partial relief but I have only been there for a few months. The second set of injections made a huge difference. First one not so much. You will need a referral from your current DR.

Rockwall is only 25 mins away from my house. I may see if my doctor will give me a referral

I don't know if you are close to East Texas, but in Tyler the Texas Spine and Joint Hospital has some great doctors. They also have some very smart pain doctors (Precision Spine Care) that do more than just push pills.
