Flying With Firearms to Mexico

My turn for an eye-catching thread title and a little humor.
I travel extensively all across the US, Canada, and lately Mexico.
When I fly to areas of the country where my RKBA is not infringed, I bring along my handguns. I always pack my own stuff and more often than not, Mrs. Anygun watches me stuff the hardcases with handguns and ammo along with holsters in my luggage, and ensuring I have the proper licenses in my wallet.
I was packing for Mexico this past Monday. Luggage to Mexico is limited to 50 pounds per bag, two checked bag maximum due to baggage restrictions that are never lifted. I have to pack steel toed boots and Flash Fire Restristant Clothing (FFRC) due to the nature of my work. I was trying to sort out what went in each bag and durned near pitching a fit about weight while Mrs. Anygun was doing her usual best as my able-bodied assistant.
During a lull in action as I was deciding on what to do next she said "If you didn't pack two handguns and the ammo that goes with it your bag wouldn't weigh as much. Just take one!" I awoke from my train of thought and erupted in a huge belly laugh (don't say a word Stevie, I know what you are thinking). When the tears stopped I told her about the firearms restrictions in Mexico and that my idea of fun is not languishing in a Mexican prison.
Isn't travel fun??
