Police in Louisiana say a possible illegal immigrant with a machete tried to snatch two children from their mothers inside a Walmart.
And Walmart still sells machetes, but not handguns.

These things that get hardly any attention nationally and zero from the left always amazes me.

Because illegal aliens can break any law they care to with total impunity...or so says the left.

Since Wal-Mart doesn't restrict carry of weapons, it's dissapointing someone with a gun wasn't there or chose not to come to her aid. Thank God for those that did come to her aid.
We need more positive examples of people defending themselves and others with their carry weapons. That's what will send the strongest message and will much more effective than baiting cooa on the streets with open carried rifles.

Yea someone with a gun could have given him a third eye so he could see the wrong in his actions.

Some of us qualify if we'd help others in need with words like: Depends upon the situation.
'This' would be "a situation" I'd step in to help.
A machete wielding mad man trying to kidnap a child...ba-bang!

The left doesn’t care because the machete wasn’t high capacity or had a bump stock.

Waiting for Walmart to fire all the employees involved in defending the women and children.

Walmart would do themselves a lot of good PR promoting these brave employees.
Even with my G19, I would be scared witless facing a guy with a machete, but his horrific madness supercedes my fear....yes, I'm going to guns and face the consequences.

I hope I would jump in to help as well. Would you give chase, or defend and stay with the first woman? I would probably let him run if he wasn’t shot by the time he left the first woman. Yelling and having pistol ready, but very slow to shoot during a tug o war with a toddler as the rope... once he left the toddler is the justification to shoot eliminated, until he goes after the second child? I still qualify with it depends

These are the same people who want to move the deer crossing signs to a place that is safer for the deer.

I would have pulled my gun and told him to put down the machete and if he decided to run at me/run at the famil yi would have given him a new hole... and then dropped him off at the nearest ICE office.

First of all kudos to the walmart employees for stepping in. Y’all are heroes! I thought all walmarts have armed guards nowadays? Grand Prairie has one! He has a nice tactical vest and everything. And where are the wally walkers that day? Or is that practice only pertains to texas?
