Saw this today. Would you buy? The barrel is 3", and under the barrel is stamped "United States Property"

I am a revolver fan so if I had the money and depending on condition yes sir I would by it in a heart beat.

That's not a great price, but it's a good one. It should have the model and serial numbers on the butt. I think there should also be a provision for a lanyard ring that has been removed.
If it's a 1917, it should be chambered for .45ACP and will need half-moon clips.

I wouldn't buy it, but I would visit Carlson1's church to see it after the service.
