It is a Springfield Armory, not sure what model. It does have a C-More sight.

I'd be tempted.

It wouldn't be my first, or second, or even third choice for a 1911. But the price looks decent, and I'd still consider it. It's also a Springfield. They make some fine 1911s for the money. And as the two above have said, you can't have too many 1911s.

at that price I'd probably buy it if it was 45ACP or 38 Super. I'd field strip it & look for any signs of excessive wear & replace the recoil spring.

Hard resell and very limited customer base, pass unless you will honestly use it

Not really. More like the B-52, rock solid and dependable to get the job done when you need to deliver a heavy payload.

Meh it's not a bad deal. To be honest at the moment the only handguns I own are 1911's but I might personally steer clear. I wouldn'( buy a car that was "souped up" because that generally leads to reckless use, and I probably wouldn't buy a used "souped up" gun. That is regardless of make/model.

Now that's just plain disrespectful. I think we can agree that we are in the jet age and bi planes are not being mass produced daily by thousands of makers, but there sure are thousands of companies making 1911's every single day. If the technology of a recoil operated semi automatic is too out of touch with modern times then......

USPSA Open Division gun from the 1990's....probably a decent 'fun gun' at that price assuming the cmore still works. Not useful for competition anymore unless it qualifies for Carry Optics division.....
