Kennedale, Texas in in Tarrant County (Fort Worth's county) near Benbrook and White Settlement.

On a school bus, a 12 year old boy and another boy were arguing over a cell phone when the 12 year old brandished
a realistic looking BB handgun.

Kennedale Police Captain Hull made the following comment:

“This BB gun looks just like a regular projectile, combustible weapon,” Hull said.

OK, real handguns shoot projectiles.....that is kind of understandable.

But I have absolutely no idea what word he was aiming for that could possible have a meaning close
to "combustible" when applied to a firearm. :-)

Maybe he meant a 3D printed gun.

From the videos I've seen, they "combust" pretty well when the trigger is pulled.

In all seriousness I think he meant shoots a cartridge that is propels the projectile by combustion. (with gunpowder) As opposed to by a spring or C02 cartridge, as many BB guns do.

That's still a very odd construction. I wonder if that was transcribed and/or reported correctly.

Light up your BBQ with this rifle. Forget matches and lighter fluid, shoot your BBQ to set it on fire!
