I believe he is referring to what happened 17 years ago, and possibly what happened in Benghazi 6 years ago.

Yeah, I still get the same feelings when I see video, of that day. The sadness, the fear, the anger. I have made sure that my youngest, (who was only 2 at the time) knows exactly what happened, and he never lets, revisionists, try to gloss over, or deny the truth. WE WILL NEVER FORGET!!!!

I will never forget the day that radical Islamists forever changed the United States. Nor will I ever forget how the government used all of the failures of intelligence, law enforcement and common sense to radically reduce our freedom, liberty and privacy in the name of “patriotism.”
I will never forget the thousands of American men and women killed on 9/11/01 nor the thousands since killed and maimed on the battlefields as the government spilled blood and treasure in undeclared war the last 17 years.
I will never forget how Bush and the rest of the swamp’s actions paved the way for a socialist, racist junior senator from Illinois to ride a wave of promised hope and fundamental changes into the White House.
To forget 9/11 would be to turn blind eyes to the continued destruction of the Republic.
