I don't like to see anyone one get killed but some people are evil. It amazes me how some political groups believe we can legislate a utopia society and push for gun control.

It seems like the passenger side cop could have used his flashlight more effectively to see the BG'S pistol, which appears to have been sitting on the center console.

The pistol was a Smith and Wesson Bodyguard M & P, .380 that would be 6 + 1 if fully charged. The picture shows 3 rounds with the pistol, which would indicate he fired up to 4 rounds.

Nice reaction from her partner. I enjoyed the insurance shot after he rounded the car. I’m glad the female cop is alive, I can care less for the other guy as life is about choices and he chose his fate.

Well said Tom.

Best wishes for the wounded Officer. :patriot:

Another item to note is that the photo of the BG's gun shows that he was using FMJ,
which hopefully left just a nice tidy hole in the female LEO's leg.

If he was using JHP's, her leg would be more torn up.

It broke her femur. She's luck femoral artery was not pierced by either the bullet or broken bone.

The BG should not have been breathing by the time the ambulance arrived.

I've shown this video to my wife and my two kids who are old enough to drive. It is very instructive on the kinds of things that LEO's have to anticipate when they pull you over, as well as the need to make sure your hands are clearly visible and you avoid any sudden movements.
