I have been following the story of Red's Trading post in Idaho and there run in with the BATF.

I have read about other dealers vilified by the BATF for making 'willful' mistakes, when their customers abbv. States, Yes, No, City, etc.

This seems like a place for a computer.

There is probably a reason why, so I though I'd ask.

Second
I read several years ago that if your town doesn't have an FFL, the local Police could receive your firearms.

Anyone else heard of this?

Do you think local governments would push back if they had to start handling firearm sales for their residents?

I salute Red's for fighting back, and having the savvy to bring attention to the persecution. No, not prosecution: they're being persecuted.

It's not. The 4473 must be filled out by hand, by the buyer. It's not a computerized form.

The only ones to get pushed back would be the citizens. We would have to stand for days on days in an imaginary line for the burocrats to get to your order.
