Is Your Refrigerator Haunted?

Mine is.
It's a high end, large, bought roughly 6/8 years ago.
I generally don't hear it making noise during the day time, but at night, shiver...it's a thing that goes goes bump in the night.
I turned off the ice maker and it made no difference in it's squeaks, squawks, moans, sudden sharp noises.
I (well, my wife) changed out the circuit board...made no difference.
So, how about you?
Got a haunted fridge?

Check to see if it level. There are adjustments at the bottom. If it is not sitting level, or if all of the adjustment feet, aren't touching the ground, when the compressor/ fan etc, come on it may cause it to move more than it should. If this is a new, issue, you have have a bearing, or fan motor going out. also check to see if ice has built up around the fan in the freezer. If none of those things are an issue, call a fridge excorcist.

Is it running? Hahahahaha
My old one started making noises and it was the fan that needed to be replaced. They are plastic blades and housings and when they go bad, the blades hit the shroud.

Jusme,
Thanks, will look again.
No, it's not a new phenomenon, but has been going on for years.
Why do I now complain?
I'm slow...

True story here: One day we gat a call to an odd happening dispatch said gunshots involved and very little known more info so we went to check it out with another squad 4 officers, the female had "HAINTS" in her fridge and had open fire on them in her kitchen, 6 rounds she then had thrown the revolver in the trash as it was no good! The door had 6 small holes in it still plugged in, we unplugged it, as in the county of offense shooting there, no one else in home, we requested a white warrant issued for her safety and evaluation, we transported her to MDC for a mental checkup she was good with that. "When we left the 4
" Colt Python was laying in the trash" ! We also took it to property room and admitted it.

What I have found, is that a lot of times, when they go into defrost, mode, the cycle isn't quite long enough to melt all of the ice, and it builds up around the freezer fan, duct. But based on Abraham's, description, if that was the problem, it would have stopped blowing cold air into the fridge by now.

It's funny the noises you hear in your house at night that you don't notice during the day or evening before going to bed. Since I'm working from home now, I've gotten use to the various normal noises heard through out the house when its just me here without tv, radio, etc making noise that covers up the other.
The wife and I have been sitting quietly eating dinner before and I ask her "has the refrigerator always made that noise?" She didn't even notice it.

Mine is definitely haunted. Every time I open the door I feel a chill.
