CHL authorizes auto knife carry

There are many advantages of carrying a folding knife that can be opened quickly or with minimal effort. Since CHLers pass tough background checks, why not let a CHL authorize them to carry auto kniives (commonly known as switchblades)? I would, however, like to eliminate the requirement to keep it concealed so we could use it cut our apples into slices as well.

Besides...let's be honsest...with all the convenient fast-opening devices on the market and the existence of fixed-blade knives, when is the auto feature really the deciding factor for some innocent person being accosted? A criminal will have all the time they need to deploy a folder or fixed blade. Defensively, you'll either have time to get your fast-open knife into play or even an auto wouldn't have helped.

I say allow auto knife carry, perhaps with a size limitation (I'm thinking 3-1/2 inches), for CHL holders.

Here's a better idea: eliminate all mention of knives and other edged items from PC 46.

And then when we're done with that, eliminate PC 46. ;)
