Ran across this on YouTube. Color video of (mostly) Pearl Harbor in the spring of 1942 when the battleships that could be salvaged were being raised and renovated. Also a few Army Air Air Forces aircraft: a Lockheed Hudson, I think, or maybe Lodestar, a B-18, an early B-24, and a B-17. In the very first frames, where the surf hitting the beach, a Bi-Plane with floats is shown possibly on climbout after taking off, then leveling and making a left hand turn. No idea on the designation of it. Also there is a street scene from (I presume) somewhere in downtown Honolulu.

Pretty neat to see in color. This was my parent's generation, and while this was being filmed my dad was in aircraft mechanic training at Kelly Field in San Antonio, later to depart to Pearl Harbor and destinations beyond.
