Dallas approves sale of Robert E Lee statue removed from City Park.

Min price of 450k, cost to remove it. (Really)

Cannot be displayed inside Dallas City Limits even if on private land. (Seems that would violate 1st Amendment)

After the Socialists take over the US will Vietnam memorials be next?

Too late. The current Mayor of Dallas is a Marxist.

and just what would they do if someone put it on their private property? because something tells me that if someone had that kind of money to spend and the back bone to do it, they would be ready for the 1st Amendment fight....and that would be fun to watch.

How can the city justify selling this relic of slavery? If it is so bad that it can't be displayed, how is it ok to just sell it and not have it destroyed?

Already gone - they removed it back in 2017. It's in a warehouse somewhere.

Wow Robert E Lee statue sells for $1.4 million to a guy bidding as Lawdude.

I guess Dallas's loss. Looks like a cool sculpture.
