Got an email this morning about a new Springfield pistol, the Hellcat. 9mm smallish that holds 11 or 13 rounds depending on which mag is inserted. Comes with night sights. There is a model with a red dot installed also.

Might have to take a look when they are available.

Plus they have a red dot version. This may be the Sig killer. Will know in a year though as first gen pistols are always a risk.

Not sure if you saw this, it was a follow-up that year from the same website stating that RRA and SA both opposed that bill.

Them opposing the bill is good news to hear, but I have two comments on that.
1. Why did they initially support a bill that they did not read?
2. Why did it take a public backlash for them to retreat on their position?
The bottom line is that they did initially support the bill, and the bill was passed into law January of this year.
