The Cycle Comes Full Circle

Before moving to Texas 12 years ago I was very much a "rifle guy", AK's SKS's a couple bolt guns and .22 semi autos, and I was fairly proficient. Moving to Texas turned me into a "pistol guy" due to the easy accessibility to any range past 25 yards. Whelp, this weekend I bought and put together another bolt gun for the purpose of "long range" shooting probably not past 500 yards. What I acquired is a Remington 700p in .308 with which I promptly installed a muzzle break and mounted a Vortex 6-24 x 50 optic. Today I got it out to the range and I am not disappointed. Only 100 yards today but hopefully I can get out to farther ranges in the future.

Very nice.
What kind of muzzle break?
And what did the install entail?

Not sure of the brand actually, I'm not horribly brand conscious, but it was one of 2 5/8x24 7.62 brakes on the shelf (just checked the receipt, it's a Midwest Industries brake). Install entailed unscrewing the thread protector from the muzzle, sliding on the crush washer and screwing her on.
