It's a downright shame that the intruder didn't get a few holes punched in him in strategic locations that night...

It happened in Maryland. Give them what they want and they will not hurt you. The sex offender is the victim here. I am shocked that you people here would even think about shooting this poor man.

My wife used to think I was crazy... When we return from roadtrips, I always 'clear' the house before letting her and my son come in. We do the normal stop the mail/timer on the lights and TV/stop the newspaper thing. But you just never know. It's stories like these that make me feel good about taking the extra precautions I do.

Wow! Out of prison and right back to his old ways after 16 years. I don't believe sex offenders can every be cured. They need to be done away with by any means neccessary. Life behind bars is one option which should be implemented on their 1st offense! Not their 2nd or 3rd. The death penalty is not out of the question as far as these sickos are concerned!

I dunno. I think it's insane to NOT have a house alarm. Why this guy was not fired upon by the home owner I do not know.
