This was drug related, but it still is a scenario worth considering. Two people knock at the door, five more are around the corner waiting as an "assault team" and two more are sitting in the escape vehicles. That would be a very difficult situation survive.

Well, aside from the incompetant reporting about assault rifles (Will they ever figure out the difference between a semi-automatic and a select fire rifle? What are the chances a street gang actually had a select-fire rifle? Will we ever get accurate reporting about those "evil black rifles"?), this story seems to me to highlight the failure of the so-called justice system as much as it does anything else.

I seriously doubt an avg citizen would ever encounter that scenario. Very very rare.

Houston is so lovely in the late summer, expecially with the few and the crazy.

Maybe it should be required that all select fire rifles be pink in color and have a hello kitty sticker affixed to the receiver that way there would certainly be no confusion.

Don't open the door without knowing who it is gets you a long way here.

Proper placement of obsticals inside the doorway will slow down the attackers long enough to shoot several of them.
