ANY safe is in danger from that kind of equipment...or a plasma cutter, etc. We could go on and on but it's futile.

10 gauge is fine for most of us who can't afford 10-20 grand for a REAL safe.

For us, anything from a Sentry up to a Ft. Knox "Yeager" series will have to do.

But I'd stay away ...

I wanted to do the same thing except I wanted to duplicate (power-wise) the standard "GI" 230-grain FMJ ball .45ACP loading (approx. 830 fps). Of course, I had to buy a chronograph...in my case it was a fairly inexpensive Shooting Chrony Alpha Master Chronograph (from http://www.midwayusa.com).

Yes, I agree: A gun in the purse is A WHOLE LOT BETTER than the gun at home or in the car.

I really don't want to change my style of dress either, but that's not due to any vanity issues, just other reasons. Still, I also must admit that I really am NOT into wearing Old-Man-Guayabera shirts -- never will wear those -- but I don't have to though, because ankle-carry has worked well for me ...

I err on the side of helping others...my life comes second.

Really though, I'm taking very little risk stopping to help someone...I'm aware, armed (!) and if need be, I'll use it very efficiently.

Besides, if I do get killed, it's time for me to go...it's God's call. I don't worry about it at all ...

Ever since guns have come in stainless, that's all I have gotten.

I see no reason to purchase blued
guns anymore...and especially if they are for concealed-carry.
