Woman Turns Gun On Attempted Carjacker

Post by Wildscar »

Praise to this woman for not being a good little victim.

FRISCO, Texas -- Frisco police said a 60-year-old woman turned the tables on a 19-year-old carjacker and shot him with his own gun, NBC 5 reported.

My thoughts...

If a 60 year old woman can wrestle away a gun from a 19 year old carjacker... it isn't that hard to take a gun away from somebody.

The lady must not have been thinking clearly, because instead of emptying the gun into the carjacker... she let him take the gun back... which could have been a fatal move for her.

Glad it turned out okay.

In all fairness to the woman, most of US wouldn't be thinking clearly during a criminal attack, either.

She probably didn't "let" him take it back, he probably revcovered from his surprise and forcibly took it back. After all, she was a woman and an old one at that.

Yes, she was REAL lucky he didn't kill her with it...but then she SHOULD have been carrying her OWN gun.

Two people learned something that night.

I've thought of this before. I think she made a wise choice until she let him have the gun back. She should have shot him again when he went for it.

Somethings wrong here. Either bad reporting or not enough
facts or something.

1. A 60 yr. old woman is stronger and out wrestles
a 19 yr. old boy and turns his gun on himself and
shoots him in the stomach.,

2. Being shot in the stomach, he then gets up, takes
his gun away from the 60 yr. old, and runs away.

Like I said, somethings wrong or missing from this story.

"Police said as the woman struggled with the suspect for control of the weapon, the gun fired and struck the man in the stomach."

well if you read the report it says he was shot DURING the struggle. so the women was probably in shock and just didnt have the strength to fight back at that point. and he at 19 didnt know what to do but run. she did not turn the gun on him!! he was shot accidently during the struggle...
