Re: Missouri bill would require adults aged 18-34 to own AR-15

AP article on the fact it was not meant to pass, but bring attention against 'mandates'. “The other side of the aisle loves mandates, so I’m trying to get them to make an argument against mandates,” Republican state Rep. Andrew McDaniel, of the rural Bootheel community of Deering, said in a telephon...

Re: Forum slow to respond in the AM

Yeah, the Forum was down again today. Tech support found a problem with the server and fixed it. This is supposed to cure the problem. Sorry folks, Chas. A few of us are addicted. We have to have a fix before we ever walk out of the house. :clapping: Just a few? :biggrinjester: We now have over 20,...

Re: TABC sting goes bad for them

Unless I know the police officer personally, I wouldn't trust him/her any farther than I could throw him/her, and that is a sad state of affairs indeed. The major majority of police officers are good people and do the right thing. It's the 1-2% that push the edge or outright break the law, get caug...

Re: TABC sting goes bad for them

In short, TABC agent screwed the pooch. Classic bar sting, agency brings in under age, young looking girl/guy (female in this case) and tries to get them served. Catch was 1) it's on good quality video, and 2) the bartender checked her ID, noted that she was underage. Asks the older male (agent) ne...

Re: Midland PD officer shot and killed. Edited

There's has to be more to this story than just what we are seeing so far on the surface. Wondering if this was a setup to get officers to the house? Just a theory.....
