Re: Dish or DirecTV

That sounds good because I really hate the dual coax requirement that limits a few of my tvs to one tuner

Re: Dish or DirecTV

Ok so it sounds like people have had a positive experience with Dish. For the dual tuner models, do they require that each tuner have it's own coax like DirecTV?

Dish or DirecTV

Heh, I am sure there are loyalists on each side but I am thinking about making the switch from DirecTV to Dish so I was wondering if anyone here has had both and which one did you like better. Or if someone has or had Dish what your thoughts were. Right now I have everything you can get except the p...

Re: Carry in a post office and police station???

I carry in Bass Pro in Grapevine all the time. In fact, I shoot at their range a good amount of time too. They are very CHL friendly unless something has changed in the last two weeks. Also the only supposed 30.06 signs that I have seen at entrances to the Grapevine Mall are not valid under the curr...

Re: Weapons @ Work

According to the wording in the policy that you have posted and what the law defines as premises you are not allowed to carry while you are inside the building, however you are able to legally keep it in your car.

Re: Fist IWB holster

I ordered the Fist right after my original post and it just arrived today. I had also been using one of these for the last month and while I like it, its not perfect for the 27. http://tennesseeholstercompany.com/our_stuff.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Its more suited ...

Re: Carrying in New Orleans

Right, I was just using that 51% as an example, but thanks for the link, it appears that if they have a license to sell alcohol for consumption on the premises that its illegal to carry.

Carrying in New Orleans

I know that TX has reciprocity with LA but I was curious as to the 50% sign for bars etc and if there are any restrictions to carrying in places that sell Alcohol. I am asking specifically about the House of Blues in New Orleans, I am going to be there for the KWS show Friday night and was wondering...

Fist IWB holster

I have been searching for a IWB holster for my G27 but so far everything I have seen or tried carries it too high and its top heavy along the beltline. What I want is something that carries it low and about the same as if there we no holster at all and it were just tucked into my pants. I think I ma...

Re: State Fair Report

Well, it was definitely a positive experience. Went through the gate at the end of MLK, the wand lady started to wand as I was showing my CHK and DL then stopped and waved me through to the ticket taking lady on the other side of the turnstyle who took my ticket and then referred me to officer Bill ...

Re: State Fair Report

This is all good info. The wife and I, along with her parents are going tonight and out of all the places I usually frequent in DFW, the area around Fair Park is probably the one where I would most want to be armed. I remember Crossfire bringing this up in the class back in June and its good to see ...
