Re: Saint Arnold Brewing Company

I'm pretty sure that they charge for the entry/tour, but not for beer. So should be clear. There used to be a fee for the tour and you got tokens to redeem for beer or root beer. Now they charge for food and drinks, but I think the tour is free. Oh cool. It has changed since i have been there. They...

Re: Cities improperly posting 30.06 signs?

Has anyone filed a complaint about the Harris County "civil courthouse" building at 201 Caroline? It houses several things, like a cafeteria/food court, county clerk, district clerk, passport services, records/imaging, and some other things in addition to courts and court offices. There's also the H...

Re: Open Carry poll by your county population

Last time I asked, I was told by the TSRA that there is no support for open carry and they will continue working their agenda instead. That sounds like opposition to me. This 'if you're not with me, yore against me' attitude is the problem. You and many of the open carry advocates expect the TSRA A...

Re: Open Carry poll by your county population

The simple repeal of 46.035 sounds like a great idea...........but why have none of the LEGITIMATE gun advocate groups (NRA, TSRA) done anything to attempt repeal of 46.035? I would much rather have these experienced lobby groups pushing for it than amatures like we see from LonestarCDL and the OCD...

Re: Open Carry poll by your county population

So why does it have to be licensed? Why not either define traveling in 46.01 as not being on property you own or control? Or, even better, add "concealed" in front of handgun in 46.02? Unlicensed open carry, licensed concealed carry.

Re: AutoZone employee fired after taking action against band

Years ago our company had a delivery van stolen during the day, full of merchandise en route to stores out of town. One of our managers jumped in his vehicle and headed out to where it was last seen, found the truck, chased it down and recovered it. Employee was armed at the time but did not have t...

I'd love to join up, but I'm not going to be able to participate in drill. Messed up my knees in college. Hoping they'll get better here some time and I can do it then. Jordan, actually that isn't a bar to being in the guard, it depends on how badly, contact a recruiter if your interested Already t...
