Never Forget Your ID At the Bank
So I had an uncomfortable moment at the bank. Thank God things went well.
I went to the bank to go get some cash. Normal process, but I didn't have my debit card (left it at the house). Normally when I get cash without my debit card, I just verify my identity with my Drivers License. I didn't have ...

Re: WHEW! Weird experience on Saturday at HEB
This is how i understand the situation as it relates to Deadly Force statutes and a CHL holder, but I am not a lawyer etc etc....
The bum seizing control of the cart is robbery because he appropriated the OP's property and made a verbal threat. This justifies deadly force, which in turn allows for ...

51% With Consent?
Question: There is a grill i goto that is borderline 51%. The owner says they are 51%, but I got a verbal OK from him to carry there (we are good friends). Is that enough to legally carry there, or is it "playing with fire"?

iPhone app? Yay or Nay?
I want to mess around with making an iPhone app, so I thought about doing one that would work in conjunction with texas3006.com or similar and display all the 30.06 and 51% places near you so you could stay away or at least be informed. Then I got to thinking, is it really smart to bring this in a ...

First stop with CHL
It's been so long since I have been stopped, I don't even remember when it happened last.
Anyway, I was in Plano leaving work around 15th and 75. I get to the intersection, knowing an officer was directly behind me. I make a deliberate complete stop, signal right, observe traffic then continue ...

Re: May 2009 Applications
Ok, this doesn't seem right at all. :banghead:
I just got off the phone with my "rep" who is responsible for my application. I was just told that my application has not even been reviewed yet because "[they're] just swamped." Really? She told me that my application hasn't even been reviewed yet ...

Re: May 2009 Applications
Wow. I didn't understand the frustration others are having until now. I sent in my app in Late May. It's approaching 100 days and still "Processing".
I've called numerous times and left many voicemails. Still nothing. No one will give me a status on my application and want to send me to the agent ...

I am confused. I have started to fill out my CHL application and I am at the part where it is asking me for my criminal/arrest history.
One of the papers I have from the county says "Deferred Adjudication Judgement." The disposition paper titled, Oder Dismissing Deferred Proceedings says :
