Correct in this instance, of course. Another use for that TLA is for the eyeglasses issued to new recruits at Basic Training:
Birth Control Glasses

These BCGs, of course, are easy to field strip, but much more challenging to reassemble.
Your best option for personal security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.
When those fail, aim for center mass.

Thing is....he can apply at another small town (usually) or department and get hired on. Scary, isn't it?
That's why he needs his commission pulled.

Well as bad as it is I have a hard time seeing a criminal charge for it..
Maybe not, but doesn't matter. This guy does not have the mental stability to have any kind of authority, never mind be a cop.

Good riddance! This guy has some anger issues.
If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you carry a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

As far as I know, "BCG" is an internet acronym. Not once did I ever hear it in the USAF. They always called it the "Bolt Carrier Group".

This was the same turkey that was caught (on video) intentionally tripping students at a football game. I knew he was fired for a reason unrelated subsequently, but I guess it didn't come out until now.
It's scary that people we depend on are capable of decisions that are this bad....

"Lanier immediately reported the issue, and on February 5th Bermudez was questioned by his superiors, and he denied that he had made any modifications to the rifle. However, he was later given two lie-detector tests and failed both of them."

I wonder what else he's lied about.

Oh I did, but it always referred to the issue glasses, not part of a weapon.

Not sure about the older generation, but in my day the first thing most of the BCG folks did after getting released from Basic was find the nearest place that sold contact lenses. Nowadays there are some bases that offer friggin Lasic surgery.

Changing the state of someone else's weapon violates one the highest and most sacred reaches of Texas law.

"Leave the gate the way you found it."

Disabling a defensive rifle isn't just rude, it's cruelly malicious. Since it was a weapon for police use, seems like charges should apply for interfering with law enforcement.
