One of the new guys here! First off, what an amazing knowledge base all of the members provide here on this forum! I can spend hours reading your insights and thank you for everything I've learned from you so far!

Here's my timeline thus far:

8/1 - CHL class and on-line application
8/4 - Fingerprints and supporting documents submitted
8/5 - Confirmation of received documents
8/6 to Today - wearing the crap out of that "check status" page

Update 8/21 - Called today and my license is approved and in the process of being mailed out!!! Where the heck is that mailman!!! No status change on the website....

Update 8/26 - Status on website changed today...killing me slowly

Update 8/27 - Plastic delivered today!!!! 22 total days from confirmation!!!

I'm in the same boat, just waiting/wanting to see a status change online. Even though I've already called and was advised yesterday that it is done and waiting to be printed, I can't help myself, I check every free moment I have =)

My timeline is as follows;

07/20 - submitted online app

07/22 - fingerprints done

08/01 - took class

08/03 - emailed docs, received confirmation

08/03 to 08/20 - wore out the online status page

08/20 - called in and the nice lady who answered stated "it is done, we just need to print your card and send it out"

08/21 - online status page still not updated, but I sure am stalking the mailman.

Latest update-

Called DPS again to check my status (online site not updated) and got the same answer as last week "it's basically done, just waiting for the card to be created and mailed out, probably be another week or two"

Still stalking the mailman and in the meantime carrying at home to get used to the feel of it.
