Does Grabagun have a retail storefront?

Post by Taypo »

Late night browsing session and they've actually got something I'm looking for at an awesome price. They're obviously closed at this hour, so I can't call them.

Anyone know if they've got a retail space at the address listed or is that just the warehouse? I don't mind making the drive to Coppell if I can avoid shipping...

They sure do. I've bought a "few" guns from there myself. Great bunch of guys...no baloney kinda experience.

They don't always have things in stock at their Coppel location. May have to buy online and select local pickup or swing by and pay for it and it will be there in a few days.

They have a storefront, I bought my VP9 there.

Next time I'm going to eat the shipping and transfer fee and just have my FFL do it. I ended up waiting around for about an hour, and after I filled out the 4473 they made me wait around while they entered all the info into their bound book (never had THAT happen before), and then I made the mistake of buying an accessory which made me wait even longer, and then they didn't have change so I couldn't pay cash :banghead:

Oddly enough, I'm looking at a VP9 too. The price they've got on that LE model right now is pretty good, and nobody else local has one in stock.

I don't mind waiting for a bit.

Thanks for the heads up, guys. I'll give em a shout in the morning.

They actually had a VP9 at the store when I made my last purchase there, also had a PPQ and I held them side by side. Both are amazing pistols. I went for the PPQ but it was almost a coin toss. The Walter and I almost got a perfect score at the Chl instructor course.

Went by this morning and got exactly what I was after. The GPS put me into the next street over but other than that, its an easy drive. Quick transaction, quick paperwork, great service. In and out in 20 minutes.

Glad to hear it. I've bought several guns online form them. I am in the DFW area often and I want to head over to their store one of these visits. :thumbs2:

similar experience last time i went there which was probably at least a year ago. i chalked it up to going on a friday afternoon and thats when they had a rush. Took about an hour of standing around before they got to me, then it was at least another 45min waiting on them to put it in their system.

I only paid $5.95 shipping on the firearms I purchased and no CC fees as I recall. They also had a streamlined set up to my local FFL.

Grab A Gun is trying to do what Bud's Gun shop did - sell firearms near cost and make a profit on sheer volume. I think eventually they will do like many other online dealers and close their brick and mortar store and sell exclusively online.

Well, considering their brick and mortar is about 150 square feet in the front of their warehouse, I don't imagine it's costing them much to keep it open.

It has nothing to do with cost, some dealers realize it is more time and trouble having a storefront so they end up going only online.
